Toyota announced this week that the FCV Concept, which made its global debut at the Tokyo Motor Show last month, will have its debut in North America at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The FCV Concept is a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle that is roughly the size of a Toyota Camry. Toyota says the concept has a range of 310 miles and only emits water vapor. Toyota says the FCV's drivetrain is an early preview of the unit that will appear in the production model in 2015.
Alongside the FCV Concept, Toyota will show a test mule with a fuel cell powertrain that has logged a fair number of miles during rigorous quality and durability testing on U.S. roads.
