2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Walkaround Video Review at the New York Auto Show

At the New York Auto Show, the Autobytel team met up with Jim Morrison, who is the Director of Marketing for the Jeep brand. Of course, the main topic of conversation was the new Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that was on display on the show floor. The Renegade Trailhawk is a totally new Jeep model that will be added to the lineup for the 2015 model year, and this compact sport utility vehicle will be the most off-road capable vehicle in its class. As Jim Morrison explains, this particular Trailhawk features a 1-inch lift, which is combined with aggressive approach and departure angles for additional off-road prowess. 

The Renegade Trailhawk features exterior styling that is a bit different from any past Jeep  model, using curves instead of the typical angles. But that doesn’t mean it’s not up to the typical Jeep challenges. The new Renegade can come powered with a 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, or a 2.4-liter Multi-Air 4-cylinder that is paired to a new 9-speed automatic transmission and can achieve more than 30 miles per gallon. The Jeep Renegade also introduces two new all-wheel-drive systems, Active Drive and Active Drive Low. Lift-out roof panels offer Jeep Renegade Trailhawk passengers a fresh breath of air while exploring the terrain.
