One of the most anticipated reveals at the 2013 New York Auto Show was the introduction of the next-generation Cadillac CTS. The new CTS is longer and wider than the outgoing model, but is surprisingly lighter. The base 2014 CTS weighs just under a hair of 3,700 lbs thanks to high strength steel and other weight loss tricks. Outside, the CTS wears the latest incarnation of Cadillac’s Art & Science design language. Inside, the CTS is filled with the latest tech including Cadillac’s CUE infotainment system. Under the hood, you have the choice between a 2.0L turbo-four, a 3.6L V6, and a twin-turbo 3.6L V6 engine that you can either pair with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Autobytel’s Benjamin Hunting gives a brief overview of the new incarnation of the CTS.
