Jaguar and Land Rover had a trio of showings at the 2012 LA Auto Show. First was the North American introduction of the Jaguar F-Type roadster which will come with either a 3.0L Supercharged V6 or a 5.0L Supercharged V8. Second was the world premiere of the Jaguar XFR-S which follows in the footsteps of the Jaguar XKR-S coupe and roadster. The XFR-S uses a slightly modified 5.0L Supercharged V8 producing 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. Other changes include a stiffer chassis, new suspension components, a functional body kit, and new exhaust. Finally, Jaguar and Land Rover introduced their Engineered To Order operations. Engineered To Order or ETO takes a standard Land Rover or Jaguar vehicle and creates a specialized luxury or high performance version for a client who wants something more. Pete Simkin, director of Jaguar/Land Rover's ETO Operations talks with Autobytel's Road Test Editor, Jeff Glucker about ETO.
