Porsche chose the 2012 LA Auto Show to show off the new 2014 Porsche Cayman. The Cayman follows on the heels of the new Porsche Boxster shown at the Geneva Motor Show and carries many of the improvements first shown on the Boxster. The new Cayman according to Porsche is lower and longer, lighter and faster, more efficient and powerful. The Cayman has two different powertrains; a base 2.7L flat-six engine producing 275 horsepower and a 3.4L flat-six producing 325 horsepower. Both engines have the choice of either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox. Nick Twork, the Manager of Product Communications for Porsche, talks with Autobytel's Road Test Editor, Jeff Glucker about the Cayman.
