MINI Previews John Cooper Works Concept
Debuting At The Detroit Auto Show Next Month
Just a few weeks before the Detroit Auto Show, MINI has released the preliminary details surrounding their John Cooper Works Concept. The concept is based on the new MINI Cooper and gives us a sneak peek at what they have in mind for the hot version of the iconic model.
The concept stands out from the standard Cooper thanks to a distinctive Bright Highways Grey paint color that contrasts with the red on the roof, roof spoiler, and stripes. The front end has large air intakes situated where the fog lights would be and a new bumper to channel air. The side features new skirts in a effort to improve aerodynamics and a set of eighteen-inch alloy wheels. The back end has a new exhaust system.
One item MINI is keeping quiet is exactly what's under the hood of the John Cooper Works Concept. We'll likely find that out when the concept officially debuts at the North American International Auto Show in a few weeks.
