Mazda Takeri Concept Sedan Proves Mazda6 May Not be Dead After All

From a purely conjectural standpoint, the new Takeri looks totally production ready from its upswept and pert rear end to its aggressive but not angry looking new corporate face. It also doesn’t have that obnoxious chrome smile that has graced so many recent Mazda models. The lines along the side of the Takaeri also don’t have odd creases or curves meaning the Nagare design language used on models like the Mazda5 is indeed dead. Thank God.

Admittedly, Mazda does a very good business with models like the Mazda3, but it needs an exciting and emotional sporty family sedan for expanding families to move up to in their model line. We think that the Takeri concept is just the perfect car for that. We personally can’t wait to drive it.
