Subaru looks to be making this year five of five years of continued growth with their announcement of March sales. The brand said March 2013 was their best-selling month in history, with 36,701 vehicles sold. That is a 13.3 percent increase when compared to last March. Sales so far in 2013 total 92,757 vehicles, an increase of 15 percent. The big winners for Subaru this month were the Forester and BRZ. Forester sales rose 46.2 percent to 9050 vehicles, making it Subaru's second best selling model just behind the Outback. The BRZ is still on the rise, with 905 vehicles sold this month.
“We are pleased to see our sales growth continue and surpass the records we set last year. Subaru offers customers uncompromising driving performance and green capabilities. It is a winning combination that will continue to drive sales,” said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc.
