May continues to roll along with a healthy batch of rebates and incentives on new cars and new trucks. Our list this week kicks off with the 2013 Buick LaCrosse mid-size sedan and its offer of zero percent financing plus $500 cash back, or the choice of $2,000 in total cash back. Next, we have the 2013 Lincoln MKT full-size crossover and its 0.0% plus $500 cash back rebate, followed by the 2013 Nissan Juke compact crossover and its choice of either zero percent purchase financing or $500 in factory cash rebates. The 2013 GMC Acadia full-size crossover provides a similar choice to the LaCrosse when it comes to incentives (0.0% plus $500 cash back or $2,000 in total cash back), while the 2013 Toyota Highlander full-size crossover wraps things up with its $500 cash back or available zero percent financing.
There’s still plenty of time to score one of these May bargains on a brand new vehicle, and we’ll keep bringing you fresh rebates and incentives each and every week as the summer season looms into view.
2013 Buick LaCrosse
Although technically a mid-size sedan, the 2013 Buick LaCrosse is large enough on the inside to feel more like a full-size automobile. This adds to the premium experience offered by the Buick LaCrosse, which also provides excellent sound insulation, a smooth ride, and a number of available high end features.
The 2013 Buick LaCrosse starts out with the eAssist mild hybrid system under the hood, a combination that includes a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine and a single electric motor. Together they produce 182 horsepower, and the eAssist model is also good for fuel mileage of 25-mpg city and 36-mpg on the highway. More grunt is available in the form of the LaCrosse’s optional 303 horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6, a unit that also grinds out 264 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard with either drivetrain, while all-wheel drive can be ordered with the V-6.
There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back or $2,000 total cash back on the 2013 Buick LaCrosse available until 06/03/2013.
2013 Lincoln MKT
The 2013 Lincoln MKT is a full-size luxury crossover that counts extroverted styling as one of its key attributes. The Lincoln MKT is capable of seating up to seven passengers, and with the second and third rows stowed the crossover can handle up to 75.9 cubic feet of cargo.
The 2013 Lincoln MKT is initially outfitted with a 3.7-liter V-6 that is rated at 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. An upgrade is available in the form of an EcoBoost 3.5-liter V-6 that makes use of twin turbochargers to push out 355 horses and 350 lb-ft of twist. The latter comes standard with all-wheel drive (optional with the base model), while both are equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy for the smaller V-6 is marginally better than that of the EcoBoost when found in front wheel drive trim, showing as 17-mpg around town and 24-mpg on the highway.
There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back on the 2013 Lincoln MKT available until 07/08/2013.
2013 Nissan Juke
The 2013 Nissan Juke provides compact crossover shoppers with a chance to step outside the ordinary in terms of both its unusual looks and its engaging driving experience. One of the best-handling vehicles in its class, the five passenger Nissan Juke has space for 36 cubic feet of luggage with the rear accommodations folded forward.
All versions of the 2013 Nissan Juke come with a hearty 1.6-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can be counted on to produce 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is available with front-wheel drive models, while selecting all-wheel drive makes the Juke’s optional continuously-variable automatic transmission standard equipment. Fuel economy for the Nissan crossover is listed at 27-mpg in city driving and 32-mpg on the highway.
There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $500 cash back on the 2013 Nissan Juke available until 05/30/2013.
2013 GMC Acadia
The 2013 GMC Acadia is a full-size crossover that does an excellent job stepping in for traditional truck-based SUVs when it comes to people moving and cargo hauling. The GMC Acadia can transport up to eight passengers, and its cavernous interior can be configured to swallow an impressive 116 cubic feet of cargo. The crossover is even capable of towing 5,200 lbs of trailer weight.
A 3.6-liter V-6 is the sole engine option available with the 2013 GMC Acadia, and this mill has been tuned to provide 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is charged with sending that output to either the front or all four wheels (if optional all-wheel drive has been ordered), and fuel economy for the large crossover is advertised at 17-mpg in city driving and 24-mpg on the highway.
There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back or $2,000 total cash back on the 2013 GMC Acadia available until 06/03/2013.
2013 Toyota Highlander
The 2013 Toyota Highlander is a seven-passenger, full-size crossover that aims to offer a driving experience not too far removed from that of a large passenger sedan. The quiet and reliable Toyota Highlander can also haul up to 95.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front two seating positions.
The 2013 Toyota Highlander’s 2.7-liter, four-cylinder base engine produces 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, while its available 3.5-liter V-6 upgrades to 270 ponies and 248 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy ratings for each mill are rather close, with the four-cylinder eking out a slight advantage (20-mpg city / 25-mpg highway). The 2.7-liter is gifted with a six-speed autobox, while the V-6 makes do with a five-speed automatic transmission but adds the option of all-wheel drive.
There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $500 cash back on the 2013 Toyota Highlander available until 06/03/2013.
