Luxury and power combine for an amazing driving experience behind the wheel of the Audi S8. I wanted to convey that sense of speed and power, and felt this low "asphalt-point-of-view" really made for an interesting angle.

With the Audi RS4 Cabriolet, I wanted to take a different angle on the classic engine bay shot, literally. To get this shot, I stood on top of a wobbly stool, balanced my tripod on a couple of apple boxes, and extended it as tall as it would go. I think the tire tracks in the floor added to the feel of the photo. I added a dingy hue to the ground as well to bring it all together.

No tricks or gimmicks in this shot, just a clean image that really ties together the status of the car with an equally elegant background. It was dusk when we came across this model home, and the uncluttered horizon made for some beautiful natural light.

The sky in the original of this photo was bland which in turn made the whole image of this Porsche Cayman feel somewhat bland. I added a purple hue to the sky, darkened it, and even dropped in a moon. The result was a surreal twilight scene that I thought was pretty cool.

The combination of the sunset light reflecting in the contrasting colored glass of the building, blue sky and the odd looking tree with the orange flowers really came together for this image. This was one of those shoots where all of the elements came together: a dramatic background, highly styled exotic car, colorful sunset, and a freshly paved parking lot without lines.

This was another case of bland sky. The original had a nice sunset but it just wasn't cutting it. I dropped in clouds from a shot I took previously and it brought the picture together. I used strobes to light the Malibu to make it stand out from the beautiful sunset.

Okay, it looks a little Miami Vice, but while shooting at night in a local parking structure, this shot caught my eye. With some careful placement of the car, the right lens selection, and having a pearlescent orange Lamborghini at my disposal, I couldn't resist!

This was the first time I experimented with a technique some call "painting with light." Basically I took a regular fluorescent tube lamp and ran it across the car from one side to the other while taking a long exposure. The end result was a beautifully-lit Audi R8. Still one of the most striking cars I've driven to date.

I really liked the rear 3/4 angle of the Saturn ASTRA and was looking to shoot something different for this assignment. I opted for a more rugged background and waited for dark. Using a slow shutter speed and a hand-held flash, I worked my way around the side and rear of the Astra, firing the flash to create this exposure.

I've taken a lot of nice photos of Corvettes, but this one stands out for me. It was one of those photos that you don't setup, but just "see" as you're walking around the car. It basically shot itself, but I'm still totally taking credit.
