Mid-Size Crossover SUV - Honda CR-V
The 2012 Honda CR-V has been a class leader almost as long as it has been on the market, a fact that is reflected by its status as the winner of the 2012 Mid-Size Crossover SUV Ideal Vehicle Award. The Honda CR-V has kept things simple, offering five passenger seating and a solid amount of cargo space, and its recent redesign has given it sleeker looks and improved fuel economy of 23-mpg in stop and go driving and 31-mpg on the highway. The CR-V's only available power plant is a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder unit that is tapped to produce 185 horse and 163 lb-ft of torque, and a five-speed automatic transmission is standard. All-wheel drive can be ordered with the Honda SUV as an option.
