Christian Wardlaw has a single career goal: to inform and entertain everyday car buyers about the vehicles they can actually afford to buy rather than the fantasy cars about which they dream. As the first Editor-in-Chief at Edmunds.com, Chris strove to combine the humor expressed in automotive enthusiast publications with the practical but boring advice offered by consumer publications. Later, Chris brought this same content development philosophy to Autobytel as the company's Editorial Director during the mid-Aughts, and then served in senior editorial positions with both J.D. Power and Associates and Vehix.com.
Today, Chris owns Speedy Daddy Media, Inc., a content marketing company specializing in automotive content. He lives in Thousand Oaks, Calif., with his wife (also an auto writer) and two children. What's parked in his garage? A Mazda Miata and a Nissan Murano.
