Pros: A high precision german car
Cons: a high precision german carA nice drive. Very good performance, looks great. Better than expected gas miles. But, it is a european high precision vehicle, so it will cost you more to own than an one from asia. Routine maintenance it at a dealer will cost you an arm and a leg. A major repair will result in the exchange of your 1st born child. Other than that, a great car.
Pros: Awd quattro engine
Cons: Owner costsVery nice car. Quattro handling in the ice and snow is better than any AWD vehicle I have ever driven. The only downside is maintenance costs. Wish I was offered Audi care when I purchased it
Pros: The interior
Cons: Audi's option package, I have no garage openerI have had Audi's since 1982. I have had Coupes, 100, 200, A4, A4 and now an A6. This car is as comfortable as a Bentley yet hussles down the road in supreme comfort and over the Sierra's here in Northern California like a sports car. The car is set up beautifully. Each time I drive the others (BMW,Mercedes, Lexus and Infinity) and come back to the build and quality of Audi. I wanted the 4.2 V8 but with 3.2 and 29 miles per gallon at 80mph and the feel of a V8 I don't need it. I'm not drag racing so I don't need an S or RS. The car is really supreme at what it does and gives confidence. I know the limits of the car after going thru Audi's program at Infiron Raceway in Sonoma California. Great Car looking forwad to the next version and A-7. I have had A-4's but don't overlook the A6. I get compliments all the time.
Pros: the seats
Cons: the wheel
Advice: if your looking for an awesome car, you have found it.really liked this car, going to buy it for my husband on his 38th birthday.
Advice: get the 3.2 2005AMAZING is the only word that can describe this car
Cons: Too many to list.
Advice: Don't buy itI had this car for two weeks and the clutch burnt out, the car has 900 miles on it. The dealer and Audi claim that it isn't a warranty problem and are insisting I pay for the repair. I've been driving a standard transmission car for 15 years and have never had this problem. Overall, the car feels cheap in its handling and performance. I encourage people to spare themselves the miserable experience I had, and look at BMW and Mercedes if you are in the market for an entry level German car.
Pros: none of audi
Advice: don't do it you will lose all with that carBeware do not buy audi they do not stand for their product .I had a clutch problem and end up to replacing trans .BTW the car should be on bumper 2 bumper warranties but end up not 2 be because of wearing item (clutch) .If you looking to upgraded to increase the HP beware they can't handle more then 500 hp .Anyway stay with japan cars witch their lot secure they less ALOT longer and can handle easy 300 K witch audi usually braking down around 50k -100k. I DO NOT RECOMMENDING THIS CAR TO ANYONE !!!!!!!!!
