Audi TT RS Video Review and Test Drive
The Audi TT RS is the ultimate expression of the performance luxury coupe. The Audi TT RS is a limited edition compact two door 2+2 that provides exceptional handling and a significant boost in acceleration over the standard edition. It also features a number of styling upgrades that give it a more aggressive, race-oriented appearance. Safety equipment found with the TT RS includes dual-stage forward airbags, side impact airbags for front passengers, and knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger. Electronic stability control and traction control are also standard.
The Audi TT RS is motivated by a 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine that churns out 360 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is charged with managing this output and directing it to all four wheels via the vehicle's standard quattro all-wheel drive system. Fuel mileage checks in at 18-mpg in city driving and 25-mpg on the highway.
The Audi TT RS (MSRP $56,850) comes in a single trim level. HID headlights, LED running lights, 19-inch wheels, automatic climate control, leather seats, a CD player, a lap timer, Bluetooth connectivity, and power adjustments for the forward positions are all included with the TT RS. The available Tech package installs a navigation system, upgrades the stereo, adds adaptive headlights, and includes rear parking assistance. The Sport Titanium Exhaust package doesn't just graft on a performance exhaust system but it also tweaks the vehicle's grille and adds special wheels.
