Audi is continuing their trend of setting record sales every single month. May marked the 29th consecutive month of sales with 13,228 vehicles, an increase of 15 percent. Total sales for the year stand at 60,571 vehicles, an increase of 15.4 percent.
The Q5 crossover was the big seller for May, selling 3,380 units. The A4 was right behind with 2,946 units. The real heavy hitter for Audi in May was the Allroad, which saw a massive 2,073.7 percent increase. That translates to 413 models, a significant increase over last May's 19 models.
“America is responding to the Audi brand; our dealers just can’t get enough cars to fill market demand. Our sales momentum is playing out across the country and across our product lineup,” said Mark Del Rosso, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Audi of America.
