    2007 Audi A8

    Understated Elegance

    Pros: B&O Radio

    Cons: Nothing, can't nit-pick

Simply the most understated luxury 4 dr. sedan on the market. Lots of power from 350 hp, thought about an S8 however it is smaller than the A8L, a tick faster, for a whole lot more $. and a thirstier V-10. Interior is second to none, dash layout is over the top. Sound system like a concert hall. The MMI is a cinch to master, unlike the BMW's I-drive. Beautiful exterior styling, and the mileage for a 4.2 V-8 is remarkable, 20city, 25+hwy@75

    2007 Audi A8

    Best Value

    Pros: B & O radio $6300 option (1st guy ate it)

    Cons: Nothing, can't nit-pick

Identical to the 2010, the 07 A8L is without a doubt the best value in a luxury 4 dr. sedan. Comfort, power, amenities, appearance, both interior and exterior surpasses 750i and S550. I bought out of 21/2 yr. lease with 12k miles for roughly 1/2 MSRP. gets 25(honest)mpg on hwy.

    2007 Audi A8 - L 4.2 quattro Long Wheelbase Sedan

Pros: B&O Stereo & Paddle shifters

Cons: There are no negatives with this vehicle

Advice: Buy used Only (with Car-Fax & all service records) preferably from a warm climate.

This is my 2nd A8L, as after I sold my 2006 I realized what a great car it truly was. Would have never bought new because of initial loss, but to get a 12k mi. 2007 in 8-09 for $50k with an MSRP of $88K was the only way to go, as a new 09 comparably equipped is now mid 90's and is essentially identical. Thought of going the S8 route but why pay more for a car with less amenities to get you to 60 a tick faster with considerable less mileage. More than adequate power and comfort at a price less than a new A6. Has more back seat leg room than a new Rolls-Royce Ghost and a wonderful ride. Have loved Audis since my 1987 5000 turbo quattro (no it didn't run away unintended) only available in 5-speed. It's taken Audi 20+ years to recover from that debacle.
