Pros: Dash and center console lighting
Cons: Back seat comfort.
Advice: I dont think gas mileage is what's advertised. This car is amazing!! I love everything about it eexcept the ride is a little just a little though. I bought this car with 9000 miles on it and I am impressed. Service department was excellent.
Pros: looks and interior fit and finnish is superb
Cons: Break pedal and accelerator to far apart for good heel 'n toe breaking
Advice: If it's in your price range and you like the looks, buy it.18000 miles in 18 months on my 2005 1/2 A4 Quatro. Absolutely no problems of any sort. Great gas mileage, great handeling and torque when you need it. No rattles no shakes. Still as tight as the day I bought it. A great car
Pros: The tiptronic three different shift patterns.
Cons: The power seat doesn't go back when the key is taken from the ignition.
Advice: Buy extended warrenty from the dealer, expensive to repair.I drove BMW 3series, Jag X type, MerBenz C, Inf G35 and Audi Quattro, all automatic tran and all with 4wheel drive. I loved them all but found the Audi was the best buy for the money. I have had the Audi for 6 weeks and love it. It is built very tight. It has all the exteras I could not afford on the others at a price I could. I have had no problems with it so far. All service is free to 50,000mi, it is certified so the warranty is extended and I bought the service contract to 75,000mi. I'm covered.
Pros: It's looks
Cons: Very poor quality vehicle. Not reliable. Horrible customer service from Audi.
Advice: Dont buy one. Mine spent over 2 months in the shop. Ive only owned it for 23 monthsBroke down 7 times in less than 2 years. Fuel injectors leaking badly, replaced fuel tank( wouldn't take fuel at the pump), replaced computer, repaired 3 different coolant leaks, trunk latch broke and wouldn't stay shut. Burned out lights, air bag light comes on and off, loud ticking sound heard from under neith vehicle after driving around. Audi would not stand behind there vehicle and wouldn't do anything for my horrible experience. Horrible customer service issues. Rude service personel. They wouldn't call me when promised and my car stayed in the shop weeks longer than promised. They wanted me to keep driving around with my air bag light going on and off, and my fuel tank having problems( this after allready being in the shop for the same repairs that didn't get fixed). Not happy about this. I will never buy another Audi as long as I live and advise all of you to think long and hard before buying one. I am an Iraq war veteran that hopes you won't spend money with this company. They seemed to think that my car wasn't having 'that many problems'. What do you think?
Cons: Needs more horsepower
Advice: Change your oil more than what Audi recommends you to do.I had purchased my Advant brand new and it has been a great car. Has had no major problems during it life. At the 30k service, the dealer did find a minor oil sluge problem, but was corrected.
Pros: Quattro all wheel drive
Cons: cup holders!!
Advice: Great car that needs to be serviced regularly to stay happy - love it but know it is a bit more demanding than a toyota. For meThis is the best looking wagon around, and the most fun. It is very safe and has decent performance with oustanding all wheel drive. This car needs to be serviced more frenquently than say, a toyota corolla but to me, it is a small price to pay to get a precision car.
Pros: 3 blink lane change indicator tap feature
Cons: rear door entry and exit is a little tight
Advice: If you can get away with less interior space, the A3 is the best bet because of greater nimbleness and the huge sunroof. But otherwise the A4 is near perfect.Just bought a new 2006 last night. Love it. Was driving a Mini Cooper previously and I did give up some of the connected feeling of the Mini to the road. But I gained interior refinement, build quality, enough space for the whole family and our dog, and an overall smoothness I've never had in a car I owned. If I could've afforded the bigger engine, I think it would've been worth it, but the 2.0 certainly isn't lacking. Especially in Sport mode, it feels very agile.
