When the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan goes on sale this month it will be the first vehicle in the country to offer 4G LTE connectivity, and it will do so at the low low price of just $0—for the first six months, anyway, and provided your A3 has been ordered with the latest "Audi connect" system for digitally accessing infotainment and navigation. From a more practical standpoint, however, the 2015 Audi A3 sedan starts at $29,990, but Audi connect requires customers to move up a trim level and add an option package, which means the entry point for a 4G A3 is $35,400.
After that, drivers of the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan will have two options for continued high-speed connectivity: a six-month plan priced at $99 and capped at 5GB of data or, for more value, a 30-month/30GB package that will cost $499. And remember, too, that beginning this summer, Audi and AT&T are teaming up to create allow the latter's customers to "add" their vehicles to their pre-existing AT&T Mobile Share plans.
“Having the choice of two data plans gives the consumer the opportunity to choose a contract that works best for their lifestyle and allows them to maintain connectivity in the vehicle for an extended period of time,” said Scott Keogh, president of Audi of America. “The new AT&T data plans with 4G LTE connectivity will allow Audi drivers to enjoy seamless navigation, streaming and high-speed access to the Internet.”
