    2005 Acura TSX - With Navigation (A5)

    Pros: Voice Activated Navigation System

    Cons: Slight lack of power

Advice: Best car in its class and price range.

I did all the research and I pretty much decided to buy this car before I even drove it. Once I actually test drove it, I was sold. It has a slight lack of power, but it handles like a dream and once it gets going it is fast enough to do what you want. The interior is very roomy and luxurious for a car of its size and I highly recommend the navigation system and XM radio.

    2005 Acura TSX - (M6)

Pros: Extra space they were able to provide.

    Cons: Lack of tinting.

Advice: Try others, then test drive this and compare and you will see.

This car is absolutely beautiful. I bought the car solely because its an Acura, and that means quality. The minute I closed the doors the sound was silenced from the outside and I could actually hear myself think while driving on the highway. I could use my headset on the phone without any problems. Its the little things that are not included an a car and driver or motor trend review. Its a clean interior and not cluttered. Hands free option for bluetooth phones. Quite engine, but has the speed to beat most cars. Ambient lighting for the interior and light on the doors when exiting. XM is a beautiful thing especially on long trips. No station finding. Con Lack of Tinting on the Windows. Should be provided as a standard in Texas. Limited backseat for taller drivers, and probably not comfortable for 5 but can seat it.

    2004 Acura TSX - (M6)

Pros: Superb blend of performance and practicality

Cons: Rear vis reduced by hi trunk; abrupt headlight cutoff at top of beam is awkward in hills.

Advice: Don't be put off by 4-cyl. This engine is powerful, smooth, and gets good mileage.

A complete package, great value. Very quick, quiet, smooth; handles like a dream. Surprisingly spacious (more rear legroom than a TL!) Excellent seats. Good headroom (I'm 6'1'.) Spacious trunk (the benefit to offset the less than perfect rear visibility), but the opening isn't as large as some might like. 6-sp manual is tight, fun to drive. And with gas shooting above $2.20/gal, what could be better than a 'hot' car that will thrive on ANY grade of gas? I haven't run it with Regular, but I can't detect any performance reduction at all with midgrade BP gas, though Acura predicts a tradeoff. The iTec four always pulls very strongly and smoothly at all RPMs. More power would get me in trouble, yet my mileage approaches 30. My '96 Infiniti G-20 is still a great car, but the TSX is superior in most ways, inferior in none. Ten years of automotive progress perfectly illustrated. 2004 Acura TSX - (A5)

    Pros: handling

Cons: rattle at the windshield...fixed by dealer...no charge

    Advice: buy it

I have a 2002 V6 Accord. After commuting in the TSX, I thought that the Accord was a better commuting vehicle due to its softer ride. A month later, I commuted in the Accord. Wrong...missed the TSX...slightly harsher ride, not as much torque, but a better driving experience. Also, this car corners like no other car that I have owned. The 4 cylinder pulls well throughout the rpms, although likes to be above 3000. I own an Accord, an Infiniti, and a Jeep...only drive the TSX.

    2004 Acura TSX - (A5)

    Pros: 'Sewing machine' smooth engine

Cons: Stock Michelins are not a great match to the chassis

Advice: No nav unless you get lost a lot - the Acura ergos are nicer without a touch screen

I'm a somewhat Honda/Acura biased guy (our last 4 vehicles) but it cannot be noted enough what a balanced & silky smooth platform the TSX is in either a 5AT or 6MT set up. Perfect balance of engine and chassis (a 3.0 V6 - if available - would upset the dynamics)...Fit & finish is top notch and the usual Honda ergonomics are great. A little more difficult to work on (oil changes et al) than the V6 Honda/Acura platforms but I give the package two thumbs up.

    2005 Acura TSX - With Navigation (A5)

Pros: The navigation system is incredible. Very nice feature.

Cons: A little more power would make this a perfect car but you could alway upgrade to the TL

Advice: Buy one. This a great car. They have a good history of being very dependable.

Very smooth ride. Descent power for a 4 cyl (200 hp) and great gas mileage (31 MPG). This a definately a nice car for comfort and a little luxury. I do quite a bit of driving and would definately recommend this vehicle to someone that travels a lot.
