    2006 Acura RSX - Type S (M6)

    Pros: Overall quality and reliability

Cons: No armrest in the middle

Advice: You'll fall in love like I did, but ya gotta get the manual transmission to truly appreciate this car.

I love my new 2006 Acura Type-S. I previously owned a '94 Integra, kept her for NINE years. Acura equals quality and reliability. With my 2006, I feel like I've come home once again, to an old, dear friend with a reincarnated body. I enjoy the manual transmission, the smooth shifting, the revving of the engine, and the leather seats. Yes, this car and I are very happy together. We plan to be together for many years to come!

    2005 Acura RSX - Base w/Leather (A5)

Pros: All of the seat-comfort adjusters.

Cons: The lack of adult head room in the rear passenger seats.

Advice: Don't let falling in love with the vehicle cloud your judgement of its true worth when you go to buy it from a crafty dealer.

I loved the sport-tuned suspension and handling. It's extremely fun to drive, economical, won't break the piggy bank when it comes to insuring it with collision, and it looks sporty and yet is subtle enough to be driven by the most sophisticated lady with a taste for sport and adventure on her way up the corporate ladder. I loved the cargo room of the trunk and the interior of the car was comfortable and stylish.

    2005 Acura RSX - Base (M5)

    Pros: Reputation

    Cons: Lack of REAL power

Advice: If you are over 6 feet tall

I purchased the a 2005 RSX Premium (no leather) as a demo w/ approx 11km on it. A big factor in buying this car was reputation. I learned that reputation and reality are few and far between. I enjoy the fact that I drive a higher end vehicle, however I cannot help but feel that this is just a fancy civic. The power is not what I was looking for. There is not nearly enough torque in this car to make it feel as fast as it should. I owned a Cav Z24 that felt twice as fast. There is the most annoying grind that occurs between the 1st and 2nd gear tha apparently is normal for this car. I am 6'3 and if I use correct posture, my head is touching the sunroof. I love the climate control and the cold air conditioning. This car and the Type-S hold nothing against the Mustang GT. I am not too sure why I bought this car. Very expensive lesson. The car performs well for the kind of car it is. If you like to rev really high, then you may like it. The interior quality in the car is amazing and very classy. If it was not for all the ice and snow in Canada, i would have bought a Mustang GT in a second. The Mustang has substance compared to the weak RSX.

    2006 Acura RSX - Base w/Leather (M5)

    Pros: Interior leather.

Cons: You feel every bump in the road

Advice: None. Need to do your own research and test drive. Prices seem to vary a lot, so check on that.

Great test drive. Handles well. Great interior look and feel to the car.

    2006 Acura RSX - Type S (M6)

Pros: The sound it makes when you rev it high

    Cons: no power seats

Advice: Buy it, its the best value for the money

When I first drove this car I was very impressed with the handling, breaking, quality and looks; it wasn't until I broke it in and started to rev the engine that I was truly blown away!! I had a 2004 Accord Coupe V6 and this car blows it away! It is a BLAST to drive and gets lots of looks!

    2005 Acura RSX - Type S (M6)

    Pros: THE BOSE SYSTEM!!

Cons: Since it's classified as LUXURY its too basic, but its definitely a great SPORTS CAR!!

Advice: Know what you want, then research it.

I initially wanted a TSX but I fell inlove with the RSX type S. It's a lot cheaper and has more HP. I'm a girl, so I don't know much about cars, so I can't really tell you much detail. All I know is that the gas mileage is EXCELLENT. It has 13 liters and (this may be bad for your car or what not) but if you take it all the way down to empty, gas mileage per gallon ranges from 26-28. You can't beat that. At one point, I took the car from full to empty and managed to get exactly 400 miles from one full tank. Aboslutley amazing!! To top it off, its super duper smooth, especially when you drive it down the freeway, and it looks super sexy! What more can you ask for? I LOVE THIS CAR!!

    2002 Acura RSX - Base (M5)

Pros: the handling of the car

Cons: air vents - they are hard to position in a convenient place

Advice: you gotta know for sure this is what you want

I loved this car when I test drove it. But having had it 3 months now I can see that it was the worst decision that I have EVER made! In the 3 months that I have owned this car, I have had to make over 8 visits to the Acura dealership for problems with the car. And ironically enough, they fix the problem for about a week and then the same problem comes back - costing me more money ($95 each time)for 'diagnostic tests' they have to run on it every time!! The car does accelerate well, but don't plan on trying to 'gun' and cut in front of someone - response time lacks! Troubles range from the SRS light remaining on, the the 'Side Airbag Off' light staying on, to the 'check engine light' coming on
