Pros: hjdfkdf df kjehekwkw
Cons: sdfkbrk ejhfjsjsb eemdfkjargkjascmc amdbgfmkndf
Pros: the handling of the car
Cons: air vents - they are hard to position in a convenient place
Advice: you gotta know for sure this is what you wantI loved this car when I test drove it. But having had it 3 months now I can see that it was the worst decision that I have EVER made! In the 3 months that I have owned this car, I have had to make over 8 visits to the Acura dealership for problems with the car. And ironically enough, they fix the problem for about a week and then the same problem comes back - costing me more money ($95 each time)for 'diagnostic tests' they have to run on it every time!! The car does accelerate well, but don't plan on trying to 'gun' and cut in front of someone - response time lacks! Troubles range from the SRS light remaining on, the the 'Side Airbag Off' light staying on, to the 'check engine light' coming on
Pros: Bucket Seat
Cons: exterior noise
Advice: It's a much better buy than other cars in its class. Honda Accord is also a great car.Just bought the base model of RSX. I wasn't up for the leather seats and I am a very middle of the road type of driver. I like the RSX base model because it saves on gas and seems to do everything I needed it to do. I didn't think I need climate control, but liked it very much. I didn't think I would care for automatic shifts, but like that very much also. The bucket seats are excellent, but I find it to be in the way if I ever want to reach behind the passenger seat to pick up a map or even to reach over to grab the passenger seat to back up the car. There's some visual impairment involve with the hatchback. I find plenty of blind spots and need to get use to the fact that I can't see as well behind me. It's a terrific car.. the road seems noisier than my BMW. It's also bumpier in the city.
Pros: The way it fits me like a glove.
Cons: Having to pay $50 to get the SRS light reset.
Advice: It's an Acura - it loves to rev...Buy one!I didn't worry with a test drive. I owned two previous Acuras (an Integra and a CL) and I knew what I was buying. It's been almost four years and I still get EXCITED every time I get behind the wheel. It corners like it's on rails and for a 4-cyl, has amazing get-up and go! The black with the blue metal-flake paint is gorgeous. A perfect car! Oh, and don't stress when your V-rated high performance Michelins wear out. I replaced mine with Toyo Proxes 4's and they have performed wonderfully. Great stickiness and great on wet roads.
Pros: beautiful styling inside & out, fun to drive, Acura's premium customer service
Cons: cost alot more to insure in NJ, needs a turbo engine, too high rear window hard to see out of, poor traction in ice/snow
Advice: Remember that it is a sports car and drives like one: keep that in mind if you are used to a sedan or will be dispappointedThe non-Type S needs more pick up but handles well. Auto shifter & anti-lock breaks will stop on a dime. Alot of car for the money but not roomy. Had to replace the driver's side window (defect) but warranty covered. One complaint: cannot lock the car while running--needed to buy a remote starter.
Pros: looks great
Advice: some road noisegot a new eclipse 1 1/2 year ago,(wanted an acura but the mitsubishi triple zero deal got me) and after some idiot w/ no licence or insurance came into my lane and totaled my car, broke my leg and got off w/ a ticket for no licence and driving in the wrong lane, i got $$$ from my insurance co. and got me my rsx 's' type! Worth the broken leg:) only thing is the stereo IS NOT as loud or bass-y as it is advertised to be and since its a bose, it would cost like 700$ to completly upgrade. but i love my car. (had an integra in 1999 but totaled that one too:( taught me to look both ways when i pull out of my driveway!!
Pros: 6 speed manual..everything just feels and works well (read : quality)
Cons: needs more torque..drive it like you hate it to get the most out of it
Advice: Good warrantyGood all round commuter with the right legs for some spirited driving on weekends. Could use tighter shocks/struts, but my padding is getting a little old to put up with the noisier ride (is that a gray hair I see?)
