Advice: Buy a Honda Accord instead.*in idle car lurches as if tapped on the bumper by another car *between 40 and 45 mph the transmission is indecisive *Turning radius is extremely poor *when accessing rear, seats rarely return to where was left (I've been squished several times) *several times seatbelt hasn’t given slack (not abrupt stops) *automatic transmission is boring – takes the enjoyment out of driving (and the sport shift barely compensates) *have to wait for the electronic seats to move to be able to access items behind driver’s seat *can’t reach behind driver seat to access rear floor while driving (I could in Integra) *seat lever sticks out too much (bruised several times) *filled cup holders are in the way of gear shift *parking brake hits driver’s ankle (Accord has parking break recessed) *there is no driver side bar to ease exit from rear seat (Civic has bar on the driver side) *seatbelts are difficult to get clipped (Accord seatbelts stick higher out of seat and are easier to clip)

Advice: For the price/performance/quality ratio, it can't be beat.I've owned mine (2003 3.2CL Type S) for almost a year now and it is still a pleasure to drive. I've previously owned much smaller cars (Integra and Honda Civic EX), but it corners and handles like it's no bigger than either of those. The only time it's size and weight is noticeable is when going over larger, more jarring bumps in the road, which tends to induce a bit of a wobble in the suspension at 55MPH, but it recovers quickly. The engine delivers loads of power across the power range and the 6 speed is smooth and responsive. Road noise dampening is very good. Love the perf'ed leather seats, nice touch. The only major complaint I have is that the brakes are a bit anemic for such a large car. If you load the vehicle down, your stopping distance increases dramatically. You have to watch out for it because you won't notice it during acceleration. The engine handles it nicely, but the brakes do not fare so well. I nearly went through a stop sign on dry pavement before I learned to take it easy when the car is loaded with weight.

Cons: Rear visibility is not the greatest.
Advice: Test drive this car and compare to other near-luxury models from BMW, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, etc.Very good acceleration and good handling in both city and freeway driving. Smooth ride and very quiet interior. Plush, comfortable leather interior with excellent sound system. Decent rear seating room and good-size trunk for a coupe. Many features are standard that will cost you extra on other near-luxury competitors (e.g., leather interior, power seats with memory, 6-CD changer/cassette stereo system, HID headlights, etc.) Excellent value in the near-luxury class!

Advice: test drive it and compare it to cars in the same price range.Before choosing the TL Type S I looked at the I 35 and the A 6. The I 35 didn't have the styling or performance appeal of the TL and the A 6 was a little out of my price range. All in all I am completely satisfied with my choice. This car has excellent performance, great styling, an outstanding stereo and plenty of room. In my opinion just a great automobile.

Cons: No trip computer available without the nav system
Advice: Drive and price Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes first.This car does everything well. it is comfortable, luxurious, sporty, easy and fun to drive, and it promises to be economical to own and operate. The six speed stick and clutch are the best I have ever driven. The engine is strong and smooth, and provides lots of power at any speed. The styling is conservative, timeless, handsome. I owned a Mitsubishi 3000GTSL previously, and the Acura performs as well while providing much more comfort and more room for people and luggage.

Advice: In this class, you should definitely drive this car before making a decision to buy something else.This is a beautiful car in all senses of the word. It looks great, if a bit understated. The interior is nicely appointed and very comfortable. It drives great...plenty of power and very stable.
